Two like minds. One timeless jacket.
Dehen and Merz b. Schwanen — two family-run brands, both over a century old, both lovingly committed to their respective analogue knitting machines — come together for a limited edition collaboration.
Designed across the Atlantic. Made in the USA.
Two Like Minds,
One Timeless Jacket
Portland and Berlin. Two cities, two sets of analogue machines still straddling past and present.
In Portland, Dehen has been producing heavyweight garments since 1920. In the Swabian Alb, our loopwheelers hum and roll through their slow revolutions. Both brands born of the same conviction: that the best things are created slowly, by hand, on machines with memory.
The DHPILOT01 is what happens when two like minds take flight.
The Pilot Jacket
The Dehen x Merz b. Schwanen Pilot Jacket unites two brands with origin stories uncannily alike: both family-run, both over a century old, both committed to craft that values heritage over trend. And both refusing, quietly but firmly, to compromise.
The jet-black jacket speaks to those who see the detail: tonal chain-stitch embroidery, water-repellent waxed cotton shell milled in Scotland by Halley Stevensons, the quiet flash of Japanese deadstock viscose lining in blue.
